जिल्हा विशेष शाखेचे कार्य :

जिल्हा पोलीस संघटनेच्या संरचनेत जिल्हा विशेष शाखा अतिशय महत्वाची आहे. या शाखेत जिल्ह्यातील सन व उत्सव, निवडणूक, परीक्षा, व्ही.आय.पी. आणि व्हीवीआयपी भेटी दरम्यानची संरचना रचना आणि डिझाइन केले आहे आणि पोलिस स्थानकासह समन्वय.

विविध शाखा, विविध राजकीय पक्षांच्या हालचाली आणि उपक्रमांविषयीची माहिती या शाखेत गोपनीय माहिती गोळा करते. त्यानंतर ही माहिती विश्लेषित केली जाते आणि संबंधित गुप्तचर विभाग (एसआयडी) तसेच संबंधित पोलीस ठाण्यांना आवश्यक ती कारवाई करण्यासाठी पाठविण्यात येते.

ही शाखा अक्षरांचे सत्यापन, पासपोर्टची पडताळणी, आवाज प्रदूषणचे प्रकरण आणि विविध परवान्यांसाठी शिफारस करते.

• 13.Gathering information abut fire, Explosives etc.
• 14.Secret report preparation and providing to senor staff as well as Government.
• 15.Practice and restructure the schemes like, Flood scheme, emergency scheme, Airbag water works employees strike scheme, S. T. corporation employees strike scheme, M.S. E. D. C. Ltd. employees strike scheme etc.
