Mr. Gopal Basu Pawar, Police Inspector of Walchandnagar Police Station, visited several Ganesh Mandals within the station's jurisdiction—specifically Azad Tarun Mandal (Sansar), Dhanaidevi Ganesh Mitra Mandal (Uddhat), and Shivtej Ganesh Mitra Mandal (Rui)—to conduct public awareness campaigns. He educated members on themes such as "Plant and Nurture Trees," staying away from drugs, and the issues of child marriage and financial fraud, while also providing information about the 'Dial 112' emergency service; awareness materials regarding these topics have been displayed at the entrances of these Mandals. Additionally, guidelines and public awareness leaflets issued by the Superintendent of Police's office were distributed to all 201 public Ganesh Mandals in the area through police personnel assigned under the 'Ganpati Adoption Scheme.'
