In order to prevent a situation of fear among citizens due to unauthorized drones flying in the sky at night, the Pune Rural Police have purchased two anti-drone guns to bring down such drones. An anti-drone gun completely disrupts the electronic signals used to operate the drone and its camera. Once the drone is disconnected from these signals, it descends to the ground. The police then seize it for further investigation.
