In accordance with the instructions of Mr. Sandeep Singh Gill (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Pune Rural, visits were made on September 14, 2026, between 17:00 and 22:00 hours, to the following Ganpati Mandals within the jurisdiction of Daund Police Station in connection with the Ganeshotsav festival: 1) Veer Baji Pasalkar Ganesh Mitra Mandal (Pasalkar Vasti, Lingali), 2) Shrinath Mitra Mandal (Gopalwadi), and 3) Gajraj Mitra Mandal (Shivaji Chowk, Daund City). During these visits, the following instructions were issued: 1) Obtaining the necessary prior permissions for the use of musical instruments, DJ systems, loudspeakers, etc., during the procession is mandatory. 2) It is essential to provide advance information to the police administration regarding the Ganpati Mandal's procession, its route, and the timing. 3) Slogans, songs, dances, or displays that are obscene, objectionable, or likely to hurt religious sentiments must not take place during the procession. 4) Special care must be taken regarding the safety of women, children, and senior citizens at the Ganpati *mandap* (marquee) and along the procession route. The office-bearers and volunteers of all the concerned Ganpati Mandals have been duly informed of these instructions.
